Valle Del Sol

Valle del Sol was born in the early 1970s when an English investor decided to purchase part of what is now a property in Santa Ana, which at that time was still a rural farming village. By 1975, the first designs for the residential complex were created, and a 9-hole golf course was built.

In 1990, a Brazilian investor joined the development and operation of what is now Parque Valle del Sol, marking the occasion with a grand inauguration attended by more than 800 people and featuring a banquet of Brazilian cuisine flown in directly from Brazil.

Beyond being one of the most prestigious and elegant developments in San José, Parque Valle del Sol has embraced a concept focused on protecting the areas surrounding the golf course to create natural refuges for wildlife and promote biodiversity. Under this environmental vision, 15 extensive lakes were designed and constructed within the golf course, creating several natural habitats that over the years have fostered diverse wildlife. The existence of 93 tree species within the golf course has been certified, many of which thrive thanks to natural regeneration processes, and more than 50 bird species have been spotted inhabiting and thriving in the natural surroundings of the course.

The community offers a secure, peaceful, and tranquil environment along its wide streets, sidewalks, and walking trails, allowing residents to freely and safely enjoy activities such as running and cycling. Children benefit from a unique space for healthy growth, while older adults walk calmly enjoying the natural beauty and warm climate. Mansion prices range from $700,000 to over $3,500,000.

Due to the exclusivity of this project, many homes for sale are handled privately. We invite you to contact our real estate professionals who will assist you in finding your ideal home and investment.

Since its inception, Parque Valle del Sol has been one of the most sought-after residential communities in the western area of San José, with easy access from Escazú, Lindora, and San José. It boasts one of the best golf courses in the country, hosting Costa Rica’s premier golf tournament. The architectural landscape features Spanish colonial, classic, eclectic, and contemporary luxury residences, all offering spectacular views of the mountains, meticulously designed gardens, and green spaces maintained with exceptional care.
